After quite a few days of being weak, dizzy and nauseated, Mom was admitted to the hospital today with dehydration and an intestinal blockage. I have a phone number for her if anyone wants to call her, just email me. Thanks for all your prayers for her and Dad.

Hi, I am Merland & Ann Severson's oldest daughter, Cathy. I just wanted you to know how much this family is praying for you and Sharlett. For all your family. Accepting death is so hard when it is forced on you so suddenly, blindsides you. We take strength from the love & power of Jesus and know that there can be healing. I am all too aware of the grief of losing someone you love so much, my son died 9 years ago and I know that I have only made it this far with help from the Lord and the power of prayer and the love of my family. Thanks Cathy. I often wonder how people can go on without the hope that Christ offers. We lost a son too, 8 years ago. We have often commented that without our faith and knowing that he is in the arms of Jesus, life would be unbearable.
